Finding the perfect the perfect venue at the right location and price can be difficult, but with Zincs hire spaces we'd like to put an end to that search.
The venue has a number of multi-purpose spaces which have been designed with high levels of access in mind. Therefore, Zinc’s flexibility means that it can be utilised for a wide variety of layouts, including cabaret, boardroom, theatre, U-shape and more.
Our meeting rooms can hold up to 40 delegates consequently ideal for training, workshops and networking events. Additional equipment is available to hire to ensure your conference is the success you need it to be.
The Zinc team are on hand: helpful, friendly and committed to making sure you have everything you need.
ZINC ARTS THEATRE - Essex Studio
State of the art performance & conference facility with two dressing rooms backstage.
The Essex Studio can be set up as a theatre for theatrical performances or live bands or alternatively used as a large conference room for variety of other functions.
Retractable seating for 84 people plus additional floor space for extra seating where required. (120 seats)
The studio is fully equipped for your every need featuring:
· Large drop down projector screen
· High Tech P.A sound system
· Lighting rig
· Lectern
· Fold away raked seating
· Modern sprung dance floor
OAK
Flexible meeting space, suitable for meetings, workshops, small presentations and activities including dance, drama and music.
It can also be used for photo shoots due to it's abundance of natural light.
Oak can also be hired in addition to the theatre as additional dressing room space.
BEECH
Flexible meeting space, suitable for meetings, workshops, small presentations and activities including dance, drama and music.
It can also be used for photo shoots due to it's abundance of natural light.
Beech can also be hired in addition to the theatre as additional dressing room space.
ROWAN
A flexible meeting room suitable for meetings and small workshops.
Rowan is smaller than Oak & Beech and therefore is a more intimate setting.
Rowan is often hired for auditions, interviews and meetings & photo shoots
ACACIA
A medium sized space with a sink.
Suitable for art and creative workshops.
Acacia is the brightest of the Zinc Centre Rooms with it's abundance of natural light pouring in through the fully glazed wall.
ATRIUM
Our large open central space. The hub of Zinc arts.
With it's vaulted ceiling and access to our kitchen, this is the perfect for larger events.
The Atrium, with it's original features and more modern large staircase and balcony are also an ideal location for film & television shoots.
HAZEL
*Hazel is used during the day time as an SEN classroom for Zinc Education however the space is available to hire in the evening for smaller meetings and classes.
Hazel is also equipped with an overhead digital projector.
