“Very interesting and historic place, great to see it being used for various activities. Couldn’t fault the afternoon tea, so much food we had to have doggy bags. Much better fresh sandwiches and scones than some expensive hotels we’ve been to. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommending to friends and family, and will be returning very soon. Thank you for a very pleasant experience. Certainly wouldn’t book through groupon as they take 40%, will book direct.”

“Well wasn’t expecting that. The is an old school turned into an Arts/Commiuty Center. There was me My wife & Two teenagers. We had for Afternoon tea, Which was out of this world. Sandwiches were to die for & cakes/Warm Scones where outstanding. So much so we had to bring the cakes home. People were attentif. We went up stairs in the more softer seats. Plenty of parking outside. Toliets and a Lift. We will be defiantly go back again. I think the more older generation would love it.”

Just had afternoon tea at Zinc Rooms. Good variety of sandwiches, cakes and scones and plenty of it. Tea was also bottomless and we were served very well by Sarah. We all came home with a doggie bag as there were plenty of cakes left over. All the produce was very fresh and pleasantly served. We had vouchers from Groupon and paid £8 each for tea with glass of Prosecco and it was £6.25 without. Would book direct with Zinc next time as the prices are the same and they get all the money whereas Groupon take 40%. Would definitely recommend this little gem to all and well worth a visit. The cafe also has daily specials chalked on their board.

Visited The Zinc Cafe yesterday with my parents and my sister for afternoon tea. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The staff genuinely could not do enough for us. Glad we have discovered this gem and will definitely visit again. Thank you.
